The Angry Puppy!
I have seen it all in my life. Russo wearing a Yanks baseball cap last year. Leading the crack committee every post season, and now the doggie slipping? I know that he is blinded by his new contract this year, and that his Man love for his pitcher is very weird. BUT! Doggie why is it that you are slipping. This great dare I say Sports legend was proving to us what a big sports fan he was, and tells us what the Yankees Schedule was and forgot to tell us the Yankees make up date against the Pirates. (Pretty Sad) He then rattles the numbers to prove that the Yanks are slipping when he knows that they are a second half team. My favorite part of the whole thing was when he said that his pitcher will be in the hall of Fame and destroyed the Gator and all the Yankees hall of fame pitchers. That was not the end of his ignorance. He criticized our owner for having a voice, yet the Giants Owner is on the witness protection program. This man tells us that the Yankees broadcasting team cheers only for the Yankees, and have nothing bad to say about the team. (Only because he hates Michael Kay) He also tells us that the Met announcers are the standard in NY. Yet when Keith says our team, and when Ronnie says we. They are really reminiscing on 1986. DUDE Watch A Ball GAME!
All that would have been done until he started talking about how much Baron Davis would miss Nelly, when it is reported that they hate each other.
But Please doggie teach us about sports. (NO CLUE ON HOCKEY, MLB, and Golf) But Please Teach us Doggie. Write another book!
That Said
The Yankees scored eighteen runs against the Rangers as they beat them 18 to 7. At 10:50 the Red Sox are still playing Tampa, ETA at NY is 3:30. Hope the plane gets stuck in run way for a few hours.
Brett Gardner got his first hit, and scored his first run. Look out Melky the Golden Brett has arived.
Trade Winds Brewing
No Truth to the rumor that the Yankees are looking to sign Barry Bonds. A Yankee official told a reputable web blog that Barry Bonds will not be wearing pin stripes. Matt Holliday will not be a Yankee so Jerome from Manhattan or where ever he lives these days, must just settle with the Yanks not doing anything crazy at the trading line. Look for the Yankees to go after a starting pitching. I do not think they will go after CC but nothing in this world will ever shock me.
The SOX were swept by the Rays and after the Game ended they played sweet Caroline. How Awesome is that! ETA on SOX 4:00 am.
