Time to turn it around.
June 13, 2008
By Frank Solares.
Andy Pettitte has always been a second half pitcher, and the Yanks have always been a second half team. No one wins on paper, if that was the case the Tigers would be in first place running away with the division.
At 33-33 the mediocre play is getting old. No one expects this team to end the year at 500. We have 200 million reasons why this team should at least be in second. The inconsistency needs to improve, this team is to talented to continue playing the way they are.
Starting with
The starting pitching is currently pedestrian. It is sad when your best pitcher and most consistent lately is Mike Mussina at 9-4 with a 3.82 era.
Wang is your number one starter but needs to step it up if he wants the Yanks to have a great second half.
Rasner will be a solid number five, and with the exception of one really bad outing he has been solid. If the Yankees do not give Rasner run support they are going to keep wasting his starts.
JOBA just needs to get his starts to expect him to be the savior is ridiculous. Not only does he need to pitch he needs to get his body and arm ready for a long second half of the year.
Andy to steal a line from a nut, Just Win Baby.
Moose
the crafty
right-hander has to continue his magical turn around since the Red Suckss.
Yankee Universe would love to see this Yo-Da win 300 games as a Yankee for the
Evil Empire.
Pen, Bridge & Mo
The Bullpen is currently under construction and rebuilding period. First Trade Farns-worthless or only pitch him every 3 days never back to back. His last 10 games Good, followed by bad. Day after day. Fool me once, fool me twice. But 10 times Brian please admit your mistake.

Five things the Yankees must do if the Yankees would like to win number 27.
Trade for Keith Foulk, lets give the A's a call.
Clone Rivera
Hope that the Indians fall far from first so that they can trade for CC
Pray that the Sox fall apart & that the Rays are not for real.
& the number one thing that must happen and will happen for the Yanks to win number 27, Kennedy and Hughes must both be on the roster contributing.
Have Jose Veras become the 8th inning guy that you and I know he can be!
