The Yankees are now five games back in the AL East with the Red Sucks losing to the California Angels of Los Angeles, Anaheim, South Central, Orange County, Disney Land, of America. (If you have not seen the play check out Manny being Manny swimming in the outfield swamp in the sixth inning) Yankees win 7-1 in the first game of the three game series against Oakland.
Mike Mussina (should have been an ALL STAR) has never won 20 games in his career. Tonight he won his 12th decision of the year. If he had any kind of luck he would be 15 and O this year. Since there is no crying in Baseball we must suck it up and just deal with it.
Mussina was very impressive today, he gave up one run and struck out six in six innings.
Where would the Yankees be with out the Moose this year?
Oh So Sexson
Richie Sexson got a hit and RBI on his first at bat. So it is all down hill from there. He also played a good first and walked once.
Robinson on Cruise So
Robinson had a homerun three RBI and two hits as he attempts to turn his season around. If the Yankees plan on making the playoff Cano needs to start playing like the All Star that he is.
