Ching Ming Wang reminded us why he has won 19 games two years in a row, remember each year he had spent significant time on the DL. Last year missing first month he did not have his second win until almost the middle of May. Wang struck out 6 only allowing 4 hits not allowing any runs.

The victory was very important, it stopped the bleeding and gave the Yanks a much needed win.

Godzilla takes the Bronx.

Matsui's homerun aided in the Yankees victory. After an off season where the rumors had Matsui playing for the wrong Giants, he has started the season strong. Through the first week of the season Hideki has two Homeruns, and is getting on base via walks or hits.

Might this be the preview of a GODZILLA Year.
