Fake & Biased News
July 22, 2008
By Frank Solares
It is one thing to be partial when it comes to the “News” on the political events (we all know agendas are written each day). It is even ok to claim that your reporters are in a certain part of the world when they are sitting at the office in Manhattan.
As a sports fan I take it a little personal when a Paper such the “Times” attempts to teach us a lesson on etiquette and not point out that both sides need to improve.
Now I like Mr. Vecsey and his son has always been one of my favorite Basketball writers. He wrote the following article and reminded us about the good old days when Ball Players were respected.
By GEORGE VECSEY Just when it looked like the Yankees and Red Sox were drifting into cozy familiarity, along came Jonathan Papelbon, poking a sharp stick into the cage of somnolent Yankee fans.
Yet when the Times, who own the Boston Red Sox, ( New York Times CEO: Red Sox A Good Investment - Forbes.com ) criticize the Yankee Fans, in lacking manners and not respecting the Sox players by how they were treated at New York for the All Star Game.

"Go anywhere in America and you won't see Red Sox hats and jackets, you'll see Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We're going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order."
