All Star Snubs!

Everyone knows that a NY hatred and Bias runs deep in the circles of Baseball.
I am not going to sit here and correctly inform you that David Wright and Jose Reyes should be on the Team, They should! Point out that if Johan had any kind of run support the Man would have 14 victories.
Forget the fact that seven Redsox players are going to the All Star Game, the Nation will be well represented and have strong support.
Don’t even get me started on why Mussina is not in over Duchscherer. Or even on why Jason Giambi who has better numbers than Milton Bradley and will not be the starting DH or make the team at all blows my mind.
The sad reality in all this is that baseball players should not have the right to select the baseball reserves.
Case in point Jason Varitek was selected to the team.
Yes I said it correctly Jason Varitek!
Now we all know that this is an all Yanks Love fest and that our opinion as stupid as it might be, atleast 90% of the time we have a point. In this case it is more like 100%
I give you 5 reasons why Jason Varitek should not be an All Star this year.
5. Jorge Posada he has been injured but on Variteks best day posada is better than him and Varitek no longer has a best day. THEY ARE PLAYING THE ALL STAR GAME IN NY! Would it kill them to at least pick him as a reserve.
4. Mike Napoli has 12 homeruns, and calls a good game.
3. Kurt Suzuki and Ivan Rodriguez are having better years.
2. It is not a lifetime achievement award. (If it was, can anyone tell me who other than Posada would deserve it more.
The number one reason why he should not be an All Star this year or ever again!
1. The Sox Captain is batting .218 with .360 slugging, is part of a great line up and he has
7 HR, and 27 RBI. In his last 10 games he is batting .147.
The reality in all this and sad part is that no one Cares!
